Blue Hour at Eilean Donan Castle,Kyle of Lochalsh,Scotland. How as an Artist can i bring my own artistic vision to possibly the most photographed Castle in the world,that was always on my mind as i drove from The Isle of Skye to Eilean Donan Castle,i had passed the castle some three days earlier during the day and it truely is a sight to behold. For those days i constantly had a vision on how i wanted to capture the emotion i was feeling in Scotland,i decided to arrive at the castle and shoot deep into the Blue Hour and do a Long exposure image using a Neutral density Filter ,as i arrived it started pouring with rain which was actually quite helpful as it cleared out an tourists from the vantage point i wanted ...i waited for the rain to stop and once again fortune shone on me,the downpour stopped for about 10 mins and i captured this most wonderful image that had been in my head for three days. I use the color Blue a lot in my work for - "Traditionally, blue is the color of Heaven, peace and contemplation. Accordingly, its main property, which is widely used in feng shui, is the ability to calm, bring humility to the soul, desire to know the world and its place in it. Blue is the color of the sky, peace, relaxation, and eternity. It is an attachment to everything around us: unity, close connection, constancy, fidelity.
