Clachnaharry,Inverness a beautiful wee spot not far from my best mate Paul's House

I was staying with Him and his wife Angela for the weekend and Paul and myself had been all over inverness looking for Vistas for me to Photograph,to have someone with local knowledge of this Highland city show me all around was brilliant ..best parts were the little stories he told me about each place ....i had seen this Vista earlier on in the day and knew that i wanted to come back here at blue hour to do a long exposure image ..off we went all around Loch Ness ,backroads and magic stories,we scouted a few locations for the following days shoot and then got back to this view at Clachnaharry,. When we got there i saw right away this big bank of storm clouds heavy on the horizon but with this light clear blue sky cutting through,i knew that a long exposure would darken and give me a rich dark blue water so the composition that kept flashing in my head was to use the heaviness of the dark sky and the dark blue water to sandwich a beautiful vista in between ,the white in the building would bring your eye to the main focal point and the story of that moment would flow to the right ...i took several shots in the next hour i knew i had got exactly what i wanted and had seen in my head 4 hours earlier..
